The School Art League recognizes the artistic accomplishments of graduating seniors by presenting tuition scholarships to Pratt Institute and School of Visual Arts at the annual awards ceremony.

Every public high school principal may select students to enter a portfolio for these juried scholarships.  The Department of Education Memo: “School Art League Awards and Scholarships” will be sent to all schools and will be available on our Memos page.

The School Art League/School of Visual Arts/Henry Wolf Scholarship 2018 is $27,000 for 4 years*

This scholarship to the School of Visual Arts is awarded to a senior for excellence in art, academic achievement and a commitment to pursue a career in the visual arts.

The recipient for 2018 is Gahun (Elizabeth) Lim - Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.

The School Art League/Pratt Institute/Marcia Friedmutter Scholarship 2018 total scholarship $26,000*

This scholarship to Pratt Institute is awarded to a senior for excellence in art, academic achievement and a commitment to pursue a career in the visual arts.

The recipient in 2018 is Mark Hilkevich, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts High School.
